Pete Morgan's Citroen Saxo, ready for the
2005 Stock Hatch Championship
Pete is passionate about his racing but also takes
pride in preparing his own cars and those of others to the highest
standards, with the aim of achieving success on the race track.
He has prepared Fiestas both for the Stock Hatch Championship
and the XR2 Challenge, achieving many fastest laps and race
wins.
With the full race car preparation
and track day car preparation facilities
of Balmuir Garage at his disposal, including the
rolling road and 4-wheel alignment facilities, he is well
equipped for full preparation of all makes of cars for racing
or rallying.
The 2007 Season
Pete is running the Saxo
in the 2006 Stock Hatch Series and once again is confident of being a strong contender for the

The 2006 Season
Pete achieved a 4th place in the 2006 Stock Hatch Championship. It was an excellent season, with much improved reliability and consitent performances. He could have won the championship if it hadn't all gone wrong at Oulton Park. More about this on the Racing page.
Balmuir Garage also prepared cars for two other Stock hatch drivers - Simon Howard who finished fifth overall and second in Group B and Matt Rozier who finished ninth overall.
We also prepared race engines for three drivers in the SAXMAX series for young drivers in the 14 to 17 age group - Andrew Tibbs, Aaron Williamson and Amy Scarisbrick. Andrew Tibbs finished in fourth place in the championship.
The switch from XR2 to Saxo for the 2005 season
was not without its difficulties and performance was seriously
lacking on the the faster circuits until the ignition system
was upgraded half-way through the season. Following that, results
were much improved and he achieved a final placing of 5th.
Pete is staying with the Saxo for 2006 and is confident of
being able to achieve more consistently high positions.
In addition to his own
Citroen Saxo for the Stock Hatch Championship, Balmuir Garage
prepared cars for other drivers in the championship, including
Steve Drewery (3rd), Terry Roughton (4th), and Simon Howard
(14th).
Balmuir Garage also prepared BRSCC XR Challenge
cars for Mark Young, Mark Robinson, Kevin Hatch and Roger Ebdon.
Mark Robinson won the championship with 180 points, 26 points
ahead of second place man Chris Jones.

For the 2004 Stock Hatch Championship season,
in which he achieved second place overall, he also prepared
cars for the following drivers: Terry Roughton, Paul Tibbs,
Simon Howard, Jonathan Howes, Mark Alden, Ian Laughton, David
Lewis, Scot Kirlew, Derek Rozier, Wayne Stockton and Paul Bateman.
For the 2004 BRSCC XR Challenge, Pete prepared
